I'm terrible at posting to this blog--absolutely terrible! But after checking Sara's blog this morning I found that she tagged me. So thanks Sara for giving me a reason to blog again!

1. I love being on the farm. (Lived on one until I was 7.)
2. I don't even know what my natural hair color looks like anymore.
3. I've only been an inpatient in the hospital three times--when I had my three kids!

I'm Back

After abandoning our family blog for over a year, I have returned! I still plan to use myspace and facebook, but this blog provides a way for me to share thoughts, stories, videos and pictures with friends and family who do not use those sites. It is much easier to post here than to send out mass emails or upload videos and pictures to another site and then direct everyone there. I can do it all here and just encourage our families to check this site out periodically for updates!

In the past two weeks Avary has learned to walk! She is now walking more than she's crawling and its super cute! She seems to be becoming a little more independent with this new talent which is great! She has always been my sidekick--latching on to my leg while I do dishes, following me into the bathroom, sitting next to me while I put on makeup, crawling on me while I do yoga...whatever I do, she likes to be right there in the middle of it! I am hoping that walking will encourage her to do her own thing once and awhile!

Here are some recent pictures of the kiddos. They all seem to be growing so fast and changing so much. Grant just got glasses! He graduates from his pre-school in a couple of weeks and then turns 6 only a few days later! Ashton is becoming quite the bike rider and ball player and challenges us to games of baseball, basketball and football on a daily basis! And of course Avary is growing fastest of all. It feels like we just brought her home yesterday! She is so beautiful, and loves to give hugs and kisses!

Looking forward to posting more! There is always a lot of action at our house to write about! Hopefully I'll figure out how to post a video soon!

Update!

Goodness, I've neglected my blog in a major way! I suppose mostly b/c I don't think anyone reads this thing anymore! I thought I would at least update the page with a new picture or two. These are pics of my beautiful children on Easter morning!

What a week!

Avary is 1 week old today. She is such an amazing baby...beautiful, sweet, content...and such a gift from God! (And check out these dimples!!!)

She's here!

Avary Grace Rodda was born on Tuesday, February 20th at 7:58 am. She weighed 7 lbs 13 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches long. Avary is very healthy and beautiful and we feel extremely blessed to have her as a part of our family! I will be posting more pics and a longer blog when I have the energy!
